Leesburg, Va. – Hammer & Nails Grooming Shop for Guys, a premier men’s grooming destination specializing in haircuts, face/head shaves, beard grooming, facial waxing and hand + foot care all in a relaxed and refined mancave, is now open in Loudon County. The men’s grooming shop is serving patrons in the Village at Leesburg.
To celebrate the grand opening, owner Ilona Kirzhner invites the local community to a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:30 pm ET on Monday, February 15. Leesburg mayor Kelly Burk, President & CEO of the Loudoun Chamber Tony Howard, and other members of the Town Council will be in attendance to commemorate the opening. Tony Wyllie, the former senior vice president of communications for the Washington Football Team and current regional president and managing director for Special Olympics North America, will also be in attendance at the ribbon cutting ceremony, as well as Hammer & Nails’ founder. Kirzhner and her team will be offering tours of the grooming shops with light refreshments, all following social distancing guidelines.
Men throughout NOVA and DC will quickly learn that the entire Hammer & Nails experience is the absolute pinnacle of relaxation while providing a one-stop-shop for all of a man’s grooming needs. One side of the shop has seven dedicated barbering stations, each fully loaded with their own sink, television and state of the art equipment to groom your head and face. These barbering services help craft men into the best versions of themselves and include straight razor shaves, exfoliation, facial waxing, beard grooming, and variety of popular long and short hair cuts including modern day fades.
Additionally, the Leesburg Hammer & Nails offers six luxury stations specialized in the delivery of MANicures and pedicures. These stations are each armed with a 55-inch flatscreen TV and BOSE noise cancelling headphones. Popular services range from maintenance oriented, 30-minute, classic manicures and pedicures to one of three premium hand and foot combos. One such premium service, the Hops & Cedar Experience, includes a stout beer and cedarwood oil-infused soak, nail care, optional buff shine, callus resurfacing, an infused sugar scrub, massage, paraffin treatment and hot towel service. For area athletes, the Leesburg Hammer & Nails offers the popular Sports Pedicure, a specialty premium pedicure that alternates between a series of hot and cold treatments to promote circulation and ease sore muscles with a hot-stone massage and tea tree infused sugar scrub.
No matter if a man is receiving a straigh razor shave or a specialty manicure – or both! – every part of the process is about giving great service and helping guys feel relaxed and pampered in a welcoming environment. More than 50% of Hammer & Nails’ guests take advantage of the one-stop-shop strategy, booking to groom their head, hands, and feet ALL during the same visit. Others come early to enjoy a beverage and some alone time in the unique minibar area.
“With multiple 20+ year master barbers on staff, there is nothing else out there like this for men in the area. Guys in Loudon County love that they now have one place where they can relax, get fully pampered, enjoy a local beer or a VIP glass of wine, and have pride that they’re taking care of themselves,” said Kirzhner. “Hammer & Nails is changing the way men think about grooming, and their significant others will come to love our services too! I know the area will truly enjoy the Hammer & Nails brand and I am incredibly excited to open our doors.”
The grooming shop offers a low-lit, comfortable atmosphere with soft ambient lighting throughout. Exterior windows are tinted dark for privacy, and the interior is furnished with dark wood and steel, to create a relaxing vibe from the moment guests walk in. Members are greeted by name, escorted to an oversized, leather chair, and handed a menu with complimentary beverages ranging from an Arnold Palmer, rootbeer float, local craft beer or a glass of fine wine. Additionally, every guest has their own personal TV, remote and noise-cancelling headphones for entertainment during his visit.
A seasoned entrepreneur, Ilona will open a total of 12 Hammer & Nail grooming shops throughout Washington DC and Northern Virginia and is currently in negotiations for future locations in Fairfax and Prince William Counties in addition to the District.
